Agent Stories

Hear From the Team

"I came from working at a warehouse — no sales background, nothing. My first week was slow but by week three I cleared $1,380. The training actually prepared me. I wasn't just thrown out there."

M
Marcus T.
Riverside, CA
Agent for 8 months

"I got promoted to team lead after four months. What I appreciate most is that management actually picks up the phone. If you're struggling they show up with you in the field. That's not normal at most jobs."

D
Diana R.
San Bernardino, CA
Team Lead, 11 months

"I was at $14/hour in retail and had no idea this kind of opportunity existed near me. Hit $1,600 my second full week. I work near my neighborhood and the hours actually work around my kids' schedule."

J
James V.
Ontario, CA
Agent for 6 months

"My manager was genuinely there during my first week — showed me how to approach people, what to say, what documents to check. I wasn't just handed a tablet and told good luck. I felt set up to win."

A
Aisha M.
Moreno Valley, CA
Agent for 5 months

"I did Doordash before this. Made decent money but no ceiling, no growth. Here I'm at $1,450 average per week and working toward trainer. I've recruited two people from my own neighborhood already."

R
Robert C.
Fontana, CA
Agent, promoted to Trainer Track

"Honestly the thing I didn't expect was how much it felt like I was actually helping people. Connecting an elderly woman in Compton to a free phone she didn't know she qualified for — that doesn't feel like sales."

Our Story

We believe everyone deserves to stay connected.

One World Wireless was built on a simple idea: the Lifeline program exists to help low-income Californians afford phone service — but too many eligible residents don't know they qualify, or face a process that feels impossible to navigate alone.

We built a field team that shows up in person — at community events, food banks, shopping centers — and makes enrollment feel human. We're also creating real earning opportunities for agents who reflect the communities they serve.

"Connecting California — one community, one household, one conversation at a time."

Community First

Every decision we make is grounded in what's best for the residents and agents we serve.

Transparency

No fine print. No confusion. Customers and agents always know exactly where they stand.

Real Opportunity

We create meaningful income for agents who reflect the neighborhoods they work in.

Accountability

Our team shows up — in the field, for customers, and for the agents we've committed to supporting.

1. Services Description

One World Wireless is an authorized enrollment partner for the federal Lifeline Assistance Program. We facilitate enrollment for eligible low-income California residents and recruit and train field agents to conduct in-person enrollments throughout California. We do not directly provide wireless service — service is provided by our carrier partners in accordance with Lifeline program rules.

2. Eligibility

To receive Lifeline benefits through One World Wireless, you must:

  • Be a resident of California
  • Qualify through program participation (Medicaid/Medi-Cal, SNAP/CalFresh, SSI, Federal Housing Assistance, Veterans Pension) or income at or below 135% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines
  • Not currently receive another Lifeline benefit within your household
  • Provide accurate and complete information during the application process

Providing false or misleading information to obtain Lifeline benefits is a violation of federal law and may result in criminal prosecution.

3. One Benefit Per Household

The Lifeline program limits benefits to one per household. A household is defined as any individual or group of individuals who live together at the same address and share income and expenses. Applying for or receiving more than one Lifeline benefit per household is prohibited and constitutes program fraud.

4. Agent Terms

Individuals who apply to become One World Wireless agents agree to:

  • Complete all required training before conducting enrollments
  • Conduct enrollments only with genuinely eligible customers
  • Never submit fraudulent or duplicate applications
  • Comply with all Lifeline program rules and federal regulations
  • Maintain accurate records as required
  • Operate as independent contractors, not employees of One World Wireless

Federal Program

Lifeline Program Disclosure

Required disclosures under FCC and USAC guidelines

What is the Lifeline Program?

Lifeline is a federal program administered by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and the Universal Service Administrative Company (USAC) that provides a monthly benefit to eligible low-income consumers to help make phone or internet service more affordable. The program is funded through the Universal Service Fund.

Program Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for Lifeline, a consumer must have an income at or below 135% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines or participate in one of the following qualifying programs:

Medicaid / Medi-Cal
Federal/state health insurance program
SNAP / CalFresh
Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program
SSI / SSP
Supplemental Security Income
Federal Housing Assistance
Section 8 or Federal Public Housing
Veterans Pension
Veterans Pension or Survivor Benefit
Income-Qualified
At or below 135% Federal Poverty Level

One Benefit Per Household Rule

The Lifeline program limits benefits to one per household. A household is defined as any individual or group of individuals who live together at the same address and share income and expenses as an economic unit. Spouses and dependents living in the same household are considered one household for purposes of this rule.

Important Notice

Violation of the one-per-household rule constitutes Lifeline fraud. Subscribers who receive more than one Lifeline benefit may be subject to repayment of benefits received and criminal prosecution under federal law.

Annual Recertification

Lifeline subscribers must recertify their eligibility every year. USAC will contact you annually to confirm you still qualify. Failure to recertify will result in loss of the benefit. One World Wireless may assist you with recertification — contact our team for help.

Usage Requirements

Lifeline subscribers must use their service at least once every 30 days to retain the benefit. Failure to use the service may result in de-enrollment from the program. "Use" includes making or receiving a call, sending a text message, using data, or purchasing additional minutes/data.

Non-Transferability

Lifeline benefits are non-transferable. The benefit is tied to the eligible consumer and may not be transferred to another person or household member who is not themselves eligible.

False Statements

Willfully making false statements to obtain Lifeline benefits is punishable by federal law and may result in fines of up to $10,000 and/or imprisonment. All applicants must certify the accuracy of their eligibility information under penalty of perjury.

One World Wireless Role

One World Wireless is an authorized Lifeline enrollment partner. We facilitate the application process and connect eligible consumers with participating carriers. Actual wireless service is provided by the carrier, not by One World Wireless. Service availability, plan details, and device availability may vary by location and carrier.
